Performances

Samantha performs for audiences of all ages and walks of life, nationally and internationally, in a vast range of settings. Over the past fifteen years, she’s performed her versatile works across the US, as well as South Africa, Hungary, Greece, Bermuda, and elsewhere. From traditional spaces like university and festival stages, museums, libraries, classrooms, & coffee houses, to unconventional realms such as trains, ferries, prisons, barbershops, laundromats & hardware stores, Samantha has done it all.

Depending on the needs of the partnering organization, her performances span from 15 minutes to one hour. No two features are the same, as Samantha tailors each set to the uniqueness of the environment—lacing her original poems with poignant anecdotes and recitations of other poets’ works. Between her arresting images and commanding delivery, Samantha infects audiences with her undeniable passion for language, its power to convey the beautiful, the terrible, the impossible.
